Honey Bee Experience
Want to learn more about bees with the opportunity to get up close and see inside a hive? Fruitfields offers honey bee experiences in our orchard apiary in Barnt Green, Worcestershire.
Over 90 minutes you will enjoy a once in a lifetime honeybee experience. This hands on session will consist of at least 30 minutes with the hives. The first 20-30 minutes will include a general welcome, an introduction to the life of the honeybee, hives, and general equipment.
A beekeeping suit and drinks will be provided, you just need to bring wellington boots.
The experiences are for a maximum 2 persons per session (either for 2 adults or an adult and a child, min. age 7) and priced at £50 for an individual or £75 for 2 adults or for an adult & child. 
Please note there is a small risk of being stung and therefore this session is not suitable for anybody with a known allergy to bee stings.
Sessions to be held between March and August 2024 (our bees do not like to be disturbed in Winter!).
